Transplanting a weeping cherry tree

Question
Hi! Well I guess I should of checked this site before I did what I did. I bought a weeping cherry tree about 2 years ago and we moved and couldn't take it with us so I decided to dig it up and give it to my parents but my mom says that some of the leaves on it are brown but some are green can you please tell me if this tree is gonna make it and what should we do to help it so it does make it. They did plant it in the ground right away and it has a pretty nice trunk it. I'm thinking that maybe it's in shock and will come back. Please tell me I'm right? Any help is appreciated! Thanks so much!

Answer
I agree it sounds like shock. Make sure you water it only about 1 inch of water each week. When you water put a pan under the treee and when the pan has 1 inch of water in it stop. Mulch around the tree to hold the moisture but not more than 2 inches of mulch and keep it away from the trunk of the tree.
