I live in the Sacramento CA area.I would like to know how and when to transplant a camelia that
is approximately 6 feet tall.

Hi Richard
dig around the drip line of the shrub so you will have a good rootball then lift it out and move it to its new location. the transplant hole should be twice the size of the rootball and backfilled with good soil water well and watch for shock. transplant when soil is workable or after flowering Good luck larry ;-)
