Question
I recieved a Blue Girl & Angel Face on March 18

All the roses I've planted have been in the summer or fall. HELP what to do?

Answer
If the roses were grown outdoors in a cool climate, then there is no problem planting them now. However most roses are usually grown in warm States such as Texas and California so planting them now will give them a shock. I know books tell you to sit them in water but that usually promotes frail feeder roots, better to put them into a bucket and make a soup of water and soil. Then place them by a window in a cool place. If you are concerned when you plant them they may get a frost, just mound the soil up around them to about 6 inches and they will be fine. Hope this helps. Lynnette
