Question
I bought roses last year for the first time.  They were beautiful.  Not knowing to prune them in the fall my husband trimmed them in early spring before frost hit them.  Now none of them are getting leaves except for one( I have 5).  Are these roses bushes dead or are they still dormant?   What can I do?  Thank You.

angel,  as long as the stems are still green you should be okay.............frost can sometimes stunt the growth process..........tender loving care.  have you fed them for spring?  mulch and be patient.  God bless, j. williamson
