On my rose bushes, the leaves...

Question
On my rose bushes, the leaves are starting to turn white and the roses don't really look that nice. The tips of the rose pedles are brown.

What can I do?

Answer
Hi Vickie-

If the leaves are turning white - it could be fungus/mildew or some type of pest.  I would spray once a week with a pesticide/fungicide combination you should be able to buy at the local garden center.  Has it been raining a lot in your area - or do you water with a sprinkler?  Sometimes if it is very humid, and raining a lot, it can cause the leaves to turn white from mildew.  Otherwise - it could be some type of pest.  Using the spray combination - should take care of either one.

Good luck-

Carlene
