No flower in climbing rose

Question
I bought bare root climbing zephrine Droubin in July last year and put in the ground as per their instruction. But I do not see any flower yet though the few branches are 3-4 ft long

Answer
It takes a couple of years to get climbing roses to bloom, that is why they are climbers, because they take all their energy to grow tall before blooming.  Make sure to fertilize with a blooming fertilizer or one that is specific for roses.  And don't do any pruning, because you want them to get big right? It hasn't even been a full year since you planted it and it wouldn't be flowering in the winter.
