How often should the iceberg rosebush be watered if kept in a large container getting morning sun?

Sometimes a person thinks they have watered a container rose well, only to find that most of the water is sitting in the bottom of the pot making the roots wet. I have found that many containers don't drain well so checking that the water is leaking out of the base is important. If it is then every five days is perfect. In a perfect pot the water should slowly go through and then drain out the bottom. Just as long as the soil is damp but not wet, the rose will be fine.
