Pinky Winky Hydrangea

Question
I planted a Pinky last spring and it has grown wonderfully.  It has lots of blooms on it this year, but the problem I am having with it (both years) is that the blooms are turning from white to brown, not pink.  It's in full sun, well-drained soil.

Answer
Hi Kim,
Thanx for your question.  Try a box of miracid on the plant.  Your soil may not be acidic enough and make sure the plant is not drying out too much.  If you don't have rain every seven days, give it a good soaking with the garden hose.  But the Miracid, will probably help a lot and you can find it in most garden centers or garden sections of the big box stores.  I hope this helps.
Tom
