indoor oak

Question
i have a plant that i have been told is a indoor oak.i cannot find any information anywhere about it.It has oak shaped leaves with green uppermost and reddish underside leaves.i wonder if you could be of help on this matter.

Answer
Hi Ron,

I suspect that your plant is commonly called oak leaf or grape ivy. Its botanical name is Cissus rhombifolia or some other variant of Cissus.

If this is not what you have let me know how yours differs or better yet, send a photo of it to me at my address below.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
