pollenating indoor orange tree

Question
how do I go about polenating my orange tree I.ve had it for 3yrs. its has'st produced any flower even I have well water and in the summer It's outside, I live in the northeat

Answer
Laurie,

If you grew it from seed it may never bloom, orange trees are hybrids and it may have reverted to a non flowering ancestral rootstock type. If it was a purchased tree it should bloom. Give it as much sun as possible year around, growing it in a greenhouse during the winteer would improve its chances. In the summer when it is outdoors it should be in a full sun location. Also it should be fertilized on a monthly basis with a blooming plant fertilizer. Let me know if it was a purchased plant or grown from seed and how large the tree is and I will try to give you more advice.
