Question
Help!  I just bought a fig tree and, in the process of getting it home, a branch with 2 new figs snapped off.  Is there any way to save it?  Maybe by some propagation method??  (it is a miniature fig tree; broken limb is about the width of a woman's index finger).  I'm in zone 8b.

Hi Audrey,

My expertise is limited to indoor potted plants so I cannot help you with your outdoor fig tree. I doubt that the broken branch can be propagated, but check with the retailer who should have more experience with figs than I.
