hydrengeas

Question
i bought a blue hydrangea, two days after planting it in the front of my house it started to wilt, now the florers are dead, the plant is still alive.  i water it one a day at night or sometimes in the mornings daily.  what is wrong?  someone suggested that it was dehydraded to i wated it twice a day, but it's still looking bad.  Someone suggested to take it out and put stones at the bottom and putting it back, in case the drainage is the problem.  What should i do.  I don't want it to die..

Answer
Maria,

It is not a house plant so I am not sure. It sounds to me like you may be overwatering it. Where do you live? How hot has it been there? What is the soil around it like? Did you plop it in the middle of clay soil so it is holding all the water you are pouring on it or what? Let me know and I will try to advise you.
