Rubber tree plants

Question
I have a rubber plant that has a baby growing down at the bottom.  Is it safe to split the two and replant the baby?

Answer
Hi Donna,
Yes, it should be okay to carefully remove the plantlet (baby) from the main plant and replant it. Just be very careful not to harm the roots of the main plant when you remove the plantlet. The roots of the plantlet should come out easily but you may have to gently tease them out if they are entwined with the main plant's roots.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions or need additional information please don't hesitate to ask.
          Thanks
              Tracy
