Question
I am concerned that I have developed an allergy related to latex....is the house plant known as a rubber tree truelly a rubber tree and contain latex?  I recently did a bit of prunning of my plant and got the milky sap on my hands...since then I have had all the symptoms of latex allergic reation.  Thanks for your help.

You are probably correct and will need to be very careful in the future whe pruning your rubber tree or having any contact wit anything latex related. Check the following weebsite:
