sun exposure

Question
I recently purchased a large, broad leafed tropical that i thought was a Moses in the Bullrushes.  It may be too large to be that particular specie.  it has purple, spear shaped leaves about 10" in length on sturdy stalks, numerous, with a blossom in the middle of the stalks that is boat shaped.
Can I leave this plant outside and in mostly sun for the summer?

Answer
Diane,

Your description fits if the leaves have a purplish cast. The plant will love it outside in full sun and will get even more purple colored. It is also very easy to start more from cuttings so you can start additional plants in hanging baskets you can get at the dollar stores or Walmart for your family or friends. The more cuttings you put in a basket the fuller the basket will get fast and every time you take a cutting off your plant it sends out 2 side shoots so yours gets fuller and more beautiful by being generous to your friends and family. i love that plant. Good luck.
