What can i do about the black patches on my plants they look bad is there some kind of pruninig or cutting. I already know about the watering and i do that once a week with purified water

The correct spelling of your plant is Dracaena fragrans massangeana.

Please tell me where you are finding these 'black patches." On the leaves? If so, on the tips, the edges or the center of the leaves. Or are they on the stems or canes? If you can provide a photo, that would be even more helpful.
