Grafting a Dracaena Fragrans Massangeana

Question
Due to an upcoming office move, I brought my Dracaena Fragrans Massangeana home.  Recently, this plant fell off of a ledge and broke in the middle of the five foot stalk.  Can this plant be grafted?  If so, how do I proceed with this procedure?

Answer
Calvin,

I have never seen one successfully put back together. What you can do is root the top and grow a whole new plant either in the soil beside the original plant or in a fresh pot of soil beside the original plant so you will then have two woqether in the same pot. Then the plant base that the top broke off of will easily and quickly grow a new top or two and you will have a prettier plant than ever. To root the top dip it in rooting hormone and insert in into the soil, it will take less than a month to root this time of yea. Summer is the only time you should be trying to rool cuttings. Good luck.
