Planting an Alaskan Weeping Cedar near a foundation

Question
We want to plant an Alaskan Weeping Cedar near our home's foundation.  How far from foundation should we plant it.  Do they cause problems with foundations?  We really like this beautiful tree and plan on planting it in a corner area of the front of our home.
Thank you

Answer
Not really a problem with the foundation. This tree has a spread of about 15 feet meaning the branches will grow to about 6-10 feet from the trunk. Also gets about 30 feet tall. Not really a good plant too near the house due to the branches could rub the house. Also to get the true effect of the weeping it needs to be more out in the yard so all sides can get sunlight.

BUT if you want it near the house I would plant it no closer than 15 feet.
