Nepenthes male,female

Question
Hi,how can i now which nepenthes is female and which is male for flowers :D .I have a Nepenthes "deRooses alata".Same thing for a  Drosera aliciae .Need seeds :D...hope you can help me

Answer
Hi Alex,

Before you can determine the gender of the Nepenthes you need to have a flower on the plant.  My best recommendation is to do some web searches to see if you can find some pictures of Nepenthes flower that show male and female.  It's hard to describe it here unless you are familiar with basic flower structure.

Sundew flowers are dioeceous.  They have both male and female parts.  Drosera aliciae self-pollinates.  Just "tickle" the flowers when open the help pollination.  When the seed heads dry the seeds will begin dropping out.

Good Growing!
