plant pulled out of the soil.

Question
Hi, I ordered a cephalotus from you and it arrived today. While I was unpacking the plant I was trying to remove the outside layer of tape. As I was pulling that last of it off the cup and the tape around it pulled the plant out of the soil. I don't think any roots were damaged but, I am worried it will die of root shock, I tried as best I could to get the plant back into the pot. Will the plant make it?

Answer
Hi Joey,

As long as it hasn't dried out, or the roots pulled off, it should be fine.  Give it a little extra humidity for a few days by partially leaving the cup on top of the plant to help it recover.  If you want to give it a little extra help you could water it with a Superthrive solution.  Be sure to follow the directions on the bottle for mixing.

Good Growing!
