Hello Adam,
I'm kinda funny about using spring water because I don't know if your spring water has a high mineral count. See here in Texas I'd have to use distilled water. Yes on the flushing but very little and just for the added cleaning off the dirt that has formed on the top leaves. A very hard thing to do with Sundews and Venus Flytraps, not so hard with pitchers plants. I enjoy seeing some photos as I enjoy sending mine...I'm a show off, lol   Please let me know how it works out for you and as always it has been a joy to hear from you! Please keep me posted on all your plants and if I can help you.   Happy Growing my friend, Dan (Daniel Lee Bowen)
