millipedes in house plant

Question
I just wrote to you a little while ago about worms in my Schefflera plant. After I wrote it I went back and examined them and noticed they were a kind of millipede. I looked up on line and came across some one writing about a spotted snake millipede and when I looked it up It looks exactly like what I have in my planter. The plant is in the house but I took it and all the other plants in the house out into the garage, and sprayed them with ortho max. Help how can I get rid of them? It Is a large 4 stem Schefflera plant thats about 4 Ft tall that I don't want to get rid of unless absolutely necessary. After spraying and soaking soil with ortho max there are a great amount of the millipedes on the surface. They are see through and about 1/2 inch long

Answer
Hi Cynthia,  You could check out Atomic Grow to make the plant healthy and all the bugs would leave.  I have also found they do not like peppermint oil which you could add to the soil with water and that could make them leave.  Both are organic.  kathy
