Question
very excited to plant my first fruit tree; however, over the past month, i have noticed some leaves on the tree are slowly turning yellow and the green leaves have a slightly wilted look to them.  very upset about this. i don't want the tree to die and i'm not sure what is wrong with it or what i should do.  if you could please give me a clue or let me know where i would be able to find some help!  i live in southwestern pennsylvania if that is any help.  thanks in advance for your time. - melissa

Answer
The tree is going through transplant shock which is normal.  The tree will probably lose some of its leaves and may look bad for the rest of this year.  Keep it watered and do nothing right now.  Next spring watch the tree as it puts on new growth.  Everything should be OK in the long run.  Have patience and Good Luck.
