rosemary web disease

Question
Hello Sir,  I have had 4 rosemary plants both planted and potted in various locations in the yard become overcome by what looks to be appears to be webbing and tiny black eggs.  Any idea what this is and how to treat it?
Thank you!

Answer
Natalie:
Thanks for your plant question.  I love rosemary by the way!  I suspect the webbing may be an indication of a critter that is on your plants and the black stuff- may be "poop".  Do the leaves appear chewed? That might be a good clue.

Best to get an accurate ID. You can contact your local county Extension office and arrange to carry them a small affected twig in to the office and let someone look at it.  If you want to, you can take a closeup photo of this webbing and send it to me and I will have a look.  Be sure to review the image, make sure it is in focus before sending it.
