Hi there , can you tell me please is there any way a tree can be protected against Dutch Elm desease ? . We lost most of our Elms to this but there a few dotted around still . How are they surviving ?

Hi Pat,  The Dutch Elm Disease is a fungus that is spread by a beetle.

Atomic Grow may increase the metabolism of the tree to a point that it will over come the disease.  It may also increase the sucrose levels to a point that the disease can no longer thrive.

In any case it seems there arent too many alternatives so I would give it a try.  Go 3/4 ounce and cover the tree completly especially where the beetles may have landed and penetrated the bark.  kathy
