Brown rot on peach tree

Question
I have a peach tree that has the fruit turning brown and rotting. I looked up and see it is brown rot. The fruit is close to being ready to pick, maybe a week. Is it to late to spay? or can I pick the fruit now and ripen it off the tree ? There is still a lot of fruit on the tree.

Answer
Mike:
Best to spray early season. Probably too late now. Remove/destroy any rotted fruit from the ground and any "rotted or shriveled" fruit from the tree during the dormant season. Fruit that are close can be picked and allowed to ripen off the tree, however the quality will not be there-like a tomato.  The fruit will soften off the tree, but quality lacking. Dry weather can help you avoid fruit loss.
