Question
I have a problem with small rodents tunneling through my garden. I believe they are voles. I am wondering if Sonic Rodent Repellers work. The type that looks like a big green garden stake that is pushed into the ground. They take 4 "D" size batteries to produce a vibration that is suppose to scare rodents away. Does this type of product really work?

One key problem is that most animals can't even hear in the ultrasonic range.
Even the animal rights group, The Humane Society, a group who would love nothing more than to say ultrasound works, has cautioned people about its effectiveness.
