I have several holes in my yard and suspect they are entrances to tunnels. Usually they are inconspicuous without any dirt mounds around them. Yesterday I noticed a 6 inch by 12 surface hole with what seems to be a tunnel on the bottom.
A light spreading of dirt around it. I would appreciate any light you can shead on this.
AnswerDo you have ground squirrels? Do you have moles whose tunnels have collapsed or were dug open by a predator?6x12 hole is HUGE. Do you have badgers in the area?
