Questioni have one of those in my st. augustine grass, cannot seem to get rid of it. i keep pulling and now have bare spots because st. augustine is dead around it. it also grows back.
Answer You seem to have a problem with a weed in your St. Augustine lawn. If it is a broad-leaf weed, atrazine or a brand-name product like "Speedzone" will have some effect. If the weed is a true grass, any product that will kill it will also kill the St. Augustine. Your safest course could be to cut out the weed patches and resod.
