Grass 1 Dear Sir,

Could you tell me what type of St. Augustine grass my lawn is, it never grows in height, it just spreads. Also how many times a week should it be watered. How can I fill in the bare spots. Thank You in Advance. Linda

It is very hard to tell the type just from the photograph. I suggest that you remove a large plug from each area and take them to a reputable nursery or the office of the County Extension Agent for an accurate determination. Click on the link below for irrigation information.
