Question

04-23-2009
Good afternoon

I live in the Tampa area and I have St. Augustine grass, but I purchase a liquid weed keller, wich by the way it said it wond harm lawns.
Now my grass is all brown like if is gone dormand.
Could I mix Bermuda with St. Agustine grass and be Ok or would I have to start from scrach..

Help Please.

Answer
If you are not one of those persons who want a pure stand of a particular turf, then sure, you can go ahead and interplant the two grasses. If a lawn is mowed regularly at a constant height, it soon presents a pleasing sight. Edging, string trimming and a good blower all help too.
