Hunter Pro-C Stations missing

Question
I hope that I am not going crazy. I have been using this controller for only two years now. I have 8 stations out of a possible 9 with this controller.  The other day, I was using the manual run feature for a "single station" and the controller didn't stop at 9 stations then return to "1", but continued until "15".  I thought that was odd, but I had read that it could go to 15 stations.
This evening, I had used the "single station" option again and after I was through I turned the knob to "off" and left.  I remembered that I was going out-of-town so I returned to turn to knob to "run".  I turned the knob to check the "run times" and noticed that now I did not see the "15" stations but to my surprise the controller now had the option of only "3" stations.  I unplugged everything, nothing.  I tried to hold down the three buttons and push reset, nothing.  I took out the black cartridges behind the panel, nothing.  Do I need to replace the unit? I know my valves all work.  The only thing that it does now, is that it only reads the three stations (stations 1,2,3). Please help!!!

Answer
Hey Mark, I hope this helps. What I would suggest, is first take out the 9 volt battery if you have one installed, and then power down the unit. Make sure all the modules in back are making good contact. Then power the unit back up without the battery installed and see what happens.Basically the controller is not recognizing the other modules. It also seems funny it would recognize the other ones (10 through 15) when they were not installed. Did any moisture get into it lately?  I would also check out the Hunter website www.hunterindustries.com. They have different manual downloads for this controller, and also have a trouble shooting section. If it doesn't work after powering back up, then I would suggest replacing it. Let me know if I can be of anymore help, thanks and have a good day.
