QuestionI have a Hunter EC 6 station Indoor controller. All of a sudden valve 1 & 2 does not open. On Auto mode it skips line 1 & 2 and goes to line 3, 4, 5 & 6. I cleaned number 1 & 2 valves and made sure everything is OK. We had some power failures recently. I did reset the controller, changed wiring with working valves but still nothing.
Can you perhaps give some advise.
AnswerI apologize for the delay. It's been hard lately to find free time to look at pending questions. It's quite possible that a power surge damaged the controller. I know the EC models are newer. Is it under warranty? If the controller is not recognizing the first or second station and you have reset the controller then there is definitely a failure of the two terminals. If you have not already addressed the issue and would like a direct number to the Hunter tech support I can provide that upon request.
