Jim, I have a Hardie 6100 controller and had the same problem as Steve (zone will not shut off).?I will follow the advice you gave him re. removing battery and shutting off power for 30 seconds but since this unit is 18 years old and the Hardie 6100 is obsolete, can you recommend a replacement 6 zone controller (indoor timer).?Thank you Bill

Hey Bill, this particular model (Hardie 6100) has been modified over the years, and has changed manufacturers. The model closest to this that is very good, and we use all the time is called a Irritrol "Rain-Dial" controller. It comes in a 6 station indoor model just like the 6100 is. Any Irrigation supply store should carry this model (Rain- Dial). Good luck and have a great day.
