Hi, I have a kwikdial system but i'm not sure that is revelant in this case.  Whenever the sprinkler system switches stations, my pipes beginning to vibrate vigorously and make a lot of noise.  What could be the problems and how can i fix it?

Hey Stephen, whats happening is that as one valve is opening, and the next valve has not shut off yet, there is a tremendous amount of water (volume) going into the system. This volume of water is whats causing the pipes to vibrate. One thing to try, if you can get to them, is to clamp the pipes so they are sturdy and will not move. The other thing to try would be to install a pressure regulator on the system to cut down on the pressure would would relate to the volume the system is putting out. Good luck and have a great day.
