crassula?

Question
Hi,
OK, this is a succulent of some kind. It has tight stacked square chubby very green leaves; they are stacked on vertical stems very much in the crassula mode but not opposing angled to one another but an even stack. I thought crassula buddha's temple but the plant I saw does not turn upward like the temple. I have seen this only in one planter in all of five greenhouses so is rare; can't find on any succulent sites. And would love to buy some!
Many thanks,
mary in santa fe

Answer
There are dozens of plants in the genus Crassula, and hundreds in the crassulaceae family, so I have no idea what species you saw.  My only advice is to see if someone will give you a pinch of it, as most crassulas root very easily.

Good luck,

Trey
