purple passion plant

Question
I have a beautiful purple passion as long as its out side. it can't stay out all the time,I live in Michigan. its blooming right now,I need to repot (its huge) I've had the plants before and they always die after I repot. Am I using the wrong soil? I really don't want to loose this one. I need help cold
weather is around the corner.

Answer
If you are using a general purpose potting soil, I doubt that's the problem.    Roots are often damaged when you repot, which is an invitation to rot fungi.  So be careful not to water too much after repotting.  Also, plants need energy to recover from the stress of being repotted, so don't move them to lower light (i.e., indoors) right after they are repotted.
