Question
My first time to this site.  I read the question from Diana about an eight foot flower in with some wild flowers.  I have one just over seven foot tall which also appeared with some wildflower seeds.  Same color, same leaves, and no one has yet identified it for me.  In Olympia, WA.

Can you attach a picture of the plant? Seeds or seed pods would be particularly helpful, as would a close up of the flower or number of petals and description of the parts in the middle (stamens, etc.). Also a view that shows how the leaves attach to the stem. In the picture I have, there are two leaf types visible, but also another plant in the background. Does this one only have the big, long-fingered leaves or other leaf shapes, too?

Other possibilities I've come up with include Hibiscus and Malva of some sort. It's driving me crazy not to figure this one out.
