When are black tulips in season and where can i purchase them in London or on the net?

Not sure about in the UK, but here in the US, we import most of our tulips from Holland.  They're typically abundantly (and inexpensively) available from December to May but become scarce during the summer and fall.  Any local florist should be able to get them, but black ones will almost certainly need to be special ordered.  Fortunately, with flowers so easy to ship worldwide, most wholesalers will be able to locate them for your florist.  Price may become an obstacle, though, because black tulips aren't as common as other colors.
