Urban Roots will host two Plant Swaps this year. Both will take place in the lot across Utica Street from the store. The Plant Swaps are part of our roots, the first took place in 2005, when Urban Roots was just a glimmer in the eye of some ambitious neighbors. Join us for out 4th Annual Spring Plant Swap, taking place twice this month. Saturday, May 9 and Saturday May 23, 9am to noon on both days.

The Plant Swap is an opportunity to share those plants that thrive in this climate. Avid gardeners may share tips with those who are just starting their first gardens. You need not bring plants to participate, learn more about gardening in Western New York and take plants home for your garden.
