Question
I recently purchased a new home and have had a number of drainage issues. One landscaper mentioned the term plastic soil. Can you tell me what it is and how it effects drainage?

Hi Tom, I'm afraid I'm not much help.  I haven't a clue what he means by plastic soil.  I thought maybe I'd missed something in the 35+ years I've been in this business, so I did a quick search on the net and don't see the term used for anything that pertains to drainage.  You've sure peaked my curiosity.  If you find out what it is, please let me know!  Jim
