What type of tree's grow best in Memphis soil

Hi Paul, Easy to grow shade trees include: oak, maple, birch, bald cypress, elm, ginkgo, tulip poplar, dawn redwood, sycamore, chinese pistachio and willows.
A little more difficult to establish but grow well here are black gum and sourwood.
Easy flowering trees: Crabapples, fringe trees, Japanese snowbell, oriental magnolias, flowering pears and flowering plums.
Harder to establish: Flowering cherry, dogwoods, redbuds and yellowwood.
Some oaks are better/faster than others, true with maples also.
