Thank you for taking time to read my question.

I am a Primary School teacher in Glasgow and currently our Environmental Studies topic is nature, specifically trees and how they grow.

I would love to be able to plant some trees indoors that could grow in our classroom and then be plated in the school grounds.

Unfortunately I have no idea of what tree(s) could be grown quickly inside.

Ideally I am looking for something that would grow and produce something after a few weeks or the kids will just get bored.

Any advice on types of tree and care would be appreciated.

This is a tall order.  I do not think getting woody plants to grow quickly in a matter of weeks is a doable project.  You can demonstrate of trees grow by using tomato plants.  They have roots, stems, and leaves just like a tree.
