propagating p. selloum from seed

Question
Hello -- I love the look of Philodendron (Elephant Ear) selloum, but I have more time than money these days so I'm curious about starting some from seed.  (I can get a handful of seeds from a distributor for a couple of bucks, versus $45 for a 2-gallon plant at my local florist.)

How difficult is this plant/tree to propagate from seed?  I know it is fairly hardy once it gets going.

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Hi Susan,
Thanx for your question.  The seeds should germinate easily at 75 to 85 degrees F.  I've put a URL before from the University of Virginia with more infrmation.  I hope this helps.
Tom
