Question
Hi my parents are moving and have a 30 year old pear tree that I would love to graft or do cuttings from to save the tree. Can you explain to me how to go about this ? I have bought a pear tree at a local nursery and want to graft onto this tree ,is this possiable ? I want to keep this tree alive by any means possiable so I am going to do both ,my problem is that there moving this Friday and need information as quick as possiable. Thanks for the help.      Dave

Thanx for your question.  I don't have any experience personally at grafting.  I have rooted cuttings before.  Here is a link from the University of Minnesota that you should find helpful.
