blueberry propagation from clippings

Question
Hi Tom
I live in North Florida and have a few blueberry bushes (different types) and I would like to grow some more.( I have a half acre of land just sitting there doing nothing) I tried clippings but wasn't sure how to do it right, and had no luck. Cannot find anyone who knows how to start the clippings? maybe my best bet would be to start them from seed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
             Thank You
                 Tim

Answer
Hi Tim,
Thanx for your question.  I lived in Fort Walton Beach for three years while I was stationed at Eglin from 1982-85.  I  used to own a townhouse on Landview Dr.  I remember the wild blueberry bushes in the pine forest behind the property line.

Here is a link to Oregon State University that has some good information regarding propagating blueberries from cuttings.  If this is too technical, let me know and I'll see what else I can come up with.

I hope this helps.
Tom
