thank you

Answer
Hi Maureen,

Thanx for your question.  I would ask one of the neighborhood boys to dig up part of the plant if there are that many bees.  Give him $10.  He'll do it!  Otherwise, yes, you can take stem cuttings but why on earth would you do that and still suffer with the bees when you can dig the dang thing up?  You can do the cuttings and up to half of them will rot.  But, make your cuttings about 8 inches long.  Take all of the leaves off except the last two.  Stick the cuttings in a tray of soil less mix and keep it moist but not soggy and keep it warm.  The cuttings should root in a couple of weeks, but there ARE problems with rotting.  I hope this helps.
Tom
