Hi Tom, I vaguely remember from a college science class that you can create new varieties of plants by cross pollinating them...other than the natural way with bees can I manually pollinate my day lilies to create a new variety.....if so how?  Thanks, Kathy

Thanx for your question.  Yes, you can hand-pollinate your day lilies.  You can use a Q-tip or a small artists' paint brush.  Brush the anthers and then touch the pistil with it.  Here is a good website with detailed instructions.  I hope this helps.
