Question
I cracked open a peach pit to get the seed, but I think I broke the outer layer off, the seed is white in color. Will this still sprout and grow a tree?

Thanx for your question.  Did you know peaches and almonds are related?  To be honest with you, I do not know if the seed is still viable and will grow into a tree.  There is no harm in trying it.  Generally, people experimenting with planting peach seeds will plant the whole pit with good results.  I hope this helps.
