Question
I purchased a Pigmy Date Palm 6 weeks ago and now I am finding white worms crawling out from the bottom of the planter.  What do I do now?  Is there a way to water with a solution to kill them?

Jill, if you are going to keep it in that container, then you will need to unpot it and repot it with new medium; I'm not familiar with what the worms may be without seeing them, but I'm sure if you eliminate the old soil and replace, then you will be fine. Treating the existing soil may or may not kill the adult worms, but there could be eggs that haven't hatched yet. Play it safe and get rid of the old medium...good luck Nick
